Wet rated is the specification that defines this fixture. Damp rating covers bathrooms and covered porches; wet rating means direct exposure — an uncovered soffit, an open entryway, a patio ceiling with no overhang. The white aluminium housing and clear glass shade are built to sit outside unprotected, and the same fixture surface-mounts indoors without modification.

At 4 inches tall this is the shallow profile in the Nordic range, which matters on a low ceiling or a shallow soffit where a taller cylinder would hang into the space. The 36-degree optics hold the beam tight rather than washing wide, so light lands where it's aimed — over a door, onto a step, or on a feature below.

Output is 1,050 total lumens with 640 delivered at 3000K and 90 CRI. That's meaningfully brighter than the 8W version in the same diameter, and enough for a working entryway rather than accent light alone. The integrated 10W LED module runs on 120V AC and is rated for 50,000 hours. The canopy measures 4.375 inches in diameter by half an inch high, sitting close to the mounting surface. ETL listed.
